Refill Your Ink Jet Cartridges
With an Ink Jet Refill
If you want to
replenish your inkjet cartridges using an ink jet refill, you should
make sure you get your ink jet refill from a reliable source. Also
realize that some ink jet cartridges cannot be refilled.
It's also useful
to know that some printer manufacturers are putting the complex print
head nozzles on the ink jet cartridge itself, making it succeptable
to damage and wear from using an ink jet refill kit.
Another factor
to consider is the printing ink itself. There are different technologies
being used for getting ink out of an ink jet cartridge. Some use heat
(thermal bubblejet) and some use vibration. The properties of Epson
ink will be different than, say, Canon ink. So make sure you don't
get a cheap ink jet refill kit that you might find at a flea market
or in the bargain bin that really isn't right for your printer. It
could cause damage, and really isn't worth getting just to save a
few bucks.
