Different types of Inkjet Ink for
Different Uses
When you buy ink
cartridges, you're probably not aware of the different types of inkjet
ink being used. The inkjet ink currently used in black ink cartridges
is of a deep-penetrating type that dries in about ten seconds.
The inkjet ink
used in color ink cartridges, being cyan, magenta and yellow, is formulated
to dry about 100 times faster. This is necessary because color ink
cannot be allowed time to bleed into the other colors. Slow-drying
color ink would make images appear blurry.
Manufacturers
of ink cartridges are constantly researching to find more and more
superior chemistries for their inkjet ink.
If you are searching
for ink cartridges, be assured that the inkjet ink used in both compatible
and remanufactured ink jet cartridges is of the same basic formulation
as in the printer cartridge that came with the printer. You can save
a lot of money by checking the recommended sources above.
