Some Useful Information About
Using an Ink Refill Kit
Ink cartridge refills,
also known as an ink refill kit, are definitely the cheapest way to
refill the inkjet ink in your printer. Keep in mind, however, that
manufacturers may have a right to void the warranty of the printer
if you are using an ink refill kit. After all, you are drilling a
hole into their ink cartridge to squirt another brand of refill ink
in. Installing another brand of ink cartridge should not void a warranty,
but using ink cartridge refills to alter the original cartridge will.
Keep in mind,
however, that if your printer has a one-year warranty, and you've
had it over a year, then there is no warranty to be voided by an ink
refill kit. I myself have been using ink cartridge refills for some
years now on my $49.00 ink jet printer with very good results, and
I know that I have saved in the hundreds of dollars by now.
So go ahead and
use ink cartridge refills if you feel comfortable and confident enough
to "do-it-yourself". An ink refill kit is a great way to
save money on those potentially horrifying inkjet printer maintenance
costs.
