Ink For Printers:
Epson's
Advanced Piezo Technology
for Epson Ink Printers
Many believe that
Epson's Piezo technology, which makes use of a piezo crystal at the
back of the inkjet cartriges reservoir to control the release of the
ink for printers, is superior to the thermal heat-based technology
used by Canon and Hewlett-Packard. For one thing, the Epson ink doesn't
have to be heated and cooled between each cycle like in the thermal
process. Therefore, instead of having to worry about giving the ink
heat-handling qualities, Epson ink for printers using piezo technology
can be given better absorption properties.
The piezo crystal
vibrates at a controlled rate to give desired smaller droplet sizes
to the Epson ink and thus increase the amount of nozzles (nozzle density).
This results in better resolution. And with the improved ink for printers
that Epson has developed, the ink dries so quickly that it does not
bleed into the other droplets.
Epson ink for
printers is solvent based, and when used with coated or glossy paper,
gives extremely good print quality.
The Epson ink
for printers you get from companies offering remanufactured or compatible
inkjet cartriges is of the same high quality as the ink in the Epson
inkjet cartidges from the manufacturer. For the best sources, click
